Shipping policy
This policy applies only to GAILS RAILS ONLINE BOUTIQUE and the SENSS Clothing brand.
Delivery
GAILS RAILS uses An Post couriers for all national deliveries. An Post will email you a tracking number for your order.
Shipping Costs (All including VAT):
Ireland €6 (within 3-5 working days)
Northern Ireland €8.50 - (within 5-10 working days)
United Kingdom - €8.50 (5-10 working days)
Europe - €15(5-15working days)
USA & Canada - €32 (5-15 working days)
We aim to deliver all orders within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
Free Shipping:
We offer free standard delivery on orders over €100 within Ireland.
If returned items bring your final order total below €100, a €6 delivery fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the original shipping cost.
Customs and Import Duties
For orders outside the EU, you may need to pay customs or import duties upon arrival in your country. These charges are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for them. Customs policies vary by country; please contact your local customs office for information. Customs processing may delay delivery.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
For distance contracts (online, phone, mail order), you have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. This is your statutory right under Irish and EU consumer protection laws.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) within the 14-day period.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused with labels attached and in the same condition that you received it. Please package your return appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
Return Shipping: For standard returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable.
International Returns: For customers outside the EU, you may need to pay customs or export duties when returning your items. These charges are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for them. Customs policies vary by country; please contact your local customs office for information. Customs processing may delay the item being received by us so please be patient. We advise you clearly mark your parcel "RETURNING NOT SUITABLE"
Refunds
- We will process your return within 2-3 days of receipt.
- We will notify you by email or phone once we’ve received and inspected your return.
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return postage.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- We do not refund original shipping costs for standard returns.
Note: For orders over €100 qualifying for free shipping within Ireland, if a return brings your order total below €100, a €6 delivery fee will be deducted from your refund.
Faulty Goods
If you receive faulty goods, you have the right to reject them and receive a full refund within 30 days of receiving the item. In this case, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact our customer service team immediately (enquirygailsrails@gmail.com) if you receive a faulty item.
Sale Items
Sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange unless faulty.
